How should phimosis be handled?

Patient's question:

I recently don't know why my lower body is very uncomfortable, and I'm not getting morning erections anymore. How should I handle the issue of phimosis?

Doctor's answer:

Balanoposthitis refers to inflammation of the inner foreskin or the glans penis. Balanitis, especially acute balanoposthitis, can cause redness of the foreskin and glans, with patients experiencing pain, swelling, and even erythema on the inner foreskin or glans. Most patients may also develop ulcers.
Urethritis, on the other hand, is inflammation of the urinary tract. Patients typically experience frequent urination, urgency, and dysuria. Gonococcal urethritis presents with purulent discharge, while non-gonococcal urethritis causes itching in the urethra, along with white discharge. In the morning, the urethral meatus may appear clogged, and underwear may become soiled. Most cases are caused by sexually transmitted infections.
