Features: This book is divided into two volumes, the upper (Emotional Volume) and the lower (Intellectual Volume). Like other branches of history, the history of ideas has always been and can only be a written history. It has always been snobbish, only recognizing words that have been turned into lead. It is both deaf and mute, unable to hear or see the calls from the wilderness. The so-called river of the history of ideas is nothing more than a narrow stream. On both sides of this stream lies an endless darkness without words. When thinkers disappear, lost on one side or the other of the darkness of the history of ideas, they will no longer continue to flow forward. On a large or small scale, collectively or individually, disappearances in the history of ideas have occurred almost every generation, countless times, to the point where I often doubt whether the profession I am engaged in is the preserver of ideas or the assassin of ideas? The ideas that have been assassinated by it may be even more numerous than those that have been preserved by it.
