Features: The series we present to our readers collects academic reports and presentations by over 100 domestic and foreign experts and scholars at the "Tianze Biweekly Academic Forum." The Beijing Tianze Institute of Economics was established on July 26, 1993, as a non-governmental, non-profit public institution and grassroots research organization. Shortly after its founding, the institute launched the "Tianze Biweekly Academic Forum," which held regular academic discussions every two weeks. By the end of 2002, it had already conducted 231 sessions. The papers included in this series were carefully selected from these 231 sessions.
