What is acute bacterial prostatitis?

Patient's question:

Previously, when I sat down, my testicles would hurt very much. Later, I experienced damp scrotum. These past few days, my testicles have been in intermittent pain, and I've also been experiencing sharp pain in my lower abdomen. There is no frequent urination or urgent urination, and my urination and defecation are normal. I had a complete blood count done, which showed a continuous increase in neutrophils. A prostate examination revealed "Chlamydia (-), smear RBC 2-4, epithelial cells C++, EPS RBL 10%, WBC full field, mixed bacteria ++, pus C++++." An ultrasound showed epididymitis, in addition to prostatitis.
Am I suffering from acute or chronic prostatitis? Besides epididymitis, how should I treat this?~~~~~~~~~

Doctor's answer:

Treating prostatitis requires treating the symptoms accordingly; otherwise, it will be twice the effort with half the result and may even worsen the condition. Specific medication usage should follow medical advice, as each person's physical condition is different, leading to varied treatment plans. Prostatitis greatly interferes with patients' lives, so once symptoms are noticed, it is essential to seek medical attention promptly. Additionally, dietary issues should be given more attention, focusing on a light and balanced diet. It is hoped that prostatitis patients can receive professional treatment.
