Features: The Journal of Legal Culture Research is an annual publication in the field of legal history founded by the Research Center for Legal Culture at Renmin University of China and published by the Renmin University of China Press. As an important part of the National Major Project of the Ministry of Education titled "Research on Traditional Chinese Legal Culture," this journal focuses on hot issues in the field of law, bridges Eastern and Western legal cultures, compiles outstanding papers, interprets valuable historical materials, and strives to contribute an academic space for legal culture research. The 2005 and 2006 volumes, already published, primarily feature papers submitted to the 2004 December Academic Annual Conference of Chinese Legal History. Starting from the 2007 volume, the journal will regularly call for submissions from the academic community. The journal includes multiple projects and special topics, conducting in-depth research and discussions on Eastern and Western legal cultures from different perspectives. While providing references for legal history research, it also serves as a reference for departmental legal studies.
