Features: Preface In both daily economic life and judicial practice, contracts and agreements are widely used. It can be said that contracts and agreements are closely related to every citizen, enterprise, institution, and other organizations. The problems reflected in judicial practice indicate that there are still common issues in the preparation and use of contracts and agreements, especially when some units and individuals do not comply with the law or use them improperly, leading to loss. The purpose of writing this book is to clarify the basic legal norms and writing skills for preparing various contracts and agreements, helping citizens, enterprises, institutions, and other organizations to master the basic knowledge and writing techniques of contracts and agreements, and to prepare and use them correctly in accordance with the law. This book focuses on practical needs, based on the new "Contract Law" passed by the National People's Congress in March 1999, as well as the "New Contract Model of China" issued by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce in November 2000, and the format and content requirements. Combining the author's many years of experience in teaching and researching judicial documents, it accurately explains the basic theoretical knowledge of the concept, characteristics, legal basis, etc., of each contract and agreement. It briefly points out the writing requirements and issues to be noted for various contracts and agreements, and also provides standardized format samples for various contracts and agreements. Typical examples are attached for some important contracts and agreements. The book highlights practicality, striving to ensure correct content, standardized format, and concise language. It is believed that this book will help readers better understand contracts and agreements, write and use them well, reduce losses, prevent problems before they occur, and better protect their legitimate rights and interests. Due to the author's limited level, it is difficult to avoid shortcomings or even errors in the book. We sincerely welcome readers' criticism and corrections. Liu Jinhua, October 2001, Beijing
