Features: In the research on the construction of the discipline of environmental law, I began to focus on summarizing the research achievements of Chinese environmental law in the 20th century starting from 1998. Coincidentally, Mr. Jin accepted the invitation to edit a series of "Modern Law Series" jointly initiated by some legal scholars in Beijing, aiming to comprehensively summarize and synthesize the progress and achievements of research in various legal disciplines in the 20th century. Mr. Jin invited me to serve as the primary contributor, and thus, I organized graduate students to collect and organize various environmental law research writings published by domestic scholars since the 1970s. During the process of compiling this series, reviewing various writings and viewpoints also greatly promoted my academic progress. The content of this book is mainly derived from the academic viewpoints (including the views of a few papers co-authored with other scholars) and opinions I have published in legal and environmental science journals both domestically and internationally. Additionally, it includes lecture notes and manuscripts for environmental law seminars I delivered to graduate students at the university. For the convenience of the system, I did not directly compile them separately but revised and supplemented them from an academic research perspective, arranged in the order of theory first, then practice.
