Author: Editorial Committee of Architectural Design Data Collection
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2004-03-01
Features: This book is revised based on the second edition, organized into four main parts: General, Civil Buildings, Industrial Buildings, and Architectural Structures. The first and second volumes cover the General section; the third to seventh volumes cover Civil and Industrial Buildings; the subsequent volumes are planned for Architectural Structures (tentatively Volume 8, 9, and 10). The writing style remains primarily visual and tabular, supplemented by concise text. This revision focuses on enriching and updating the content, comprehensively compiling new technological achievements and experiences in domestic architectural design and related fields, while selectively introducing advanced foreign technical materials. The newly revised Architectural Design Data Collection (Second Edition) has the following features: First, it is more systematic and comprehensive, covering all professional knowledge related to architectural design. It encompasses the fields of architectural design from ancient to modern times, both domestically and internationally. It not only maintains close integration with disciplines such as water supply, heating, electricity, sanitation, architectural structures, and architectural economics but also involves various knowledge domains such as philosophy, aesthetics, sociology, ergonomics, behavioral and environmental psychology. Second, during this revision, except for a few retained from the original edition, most content has been significantly updated or enriched. Third, the categorization in the writing system is clear, making it convenient to reference. Fourth, the new edition's cover design and layout layout maintains the unique style of the original edition, ensuring the continuity of this large-scale reference book, while the paper materials and printing techniques are more refined than the original version.
