Features: In the vast and sparsely populated town of Shitiao, there stands a dilapidated old house. The town's police station, staffed by only six police officers, is located here. The working conditions at the police station are extremely basic, yet the tasks they handle are incredibly demanding. They are grassroots police officers, engaged in ordinary and tedious police work. As the saying goes, "People are not made of iron." All six officers face their own challenges. Heavy family burdens, meager salaries, physically exhausting bodies due to long-term overwork, and lack of understanding from their families cast a heavy shadow over their hearts. Tight budgets, indifference from superiors towards police work, and societal misunderstandings also constantly trouble them. This year was an extraordinary one. The town witnessed the most severe cases in its history, which consequently changed the lives of these six "heroes."
