P. Ridov's "Dana - The Story of a Female Partisan Hero" details the heroic sacrifice of "Soviet Hero" Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya at the age of 18. Before the war, Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya was a tenth-grade student at Moscow School No. 201. When the Great Patriotic War broke out, she joined the partisan detachment without hesitation and fought fiercely against the German occupiers in the occupied areas. Unfortunately, Zoya was captured by Hitler's gang during an operation. Facing the enemy's interrogation, Zoya claimed the name "Dana." The name "Dana" was inspired by the story of Dana from "Dana Solomakh," a book she had read before her death. In this feature article, Lyubov Arghuninskaya portrays the image of the heroic girl Dana Solomakh. During the Civil War, Dana fought resolutely against the White Guards for the cause of the Soviet Revolution. After being captured by the White Guards, she endured all forms of torture and was executed by the White Guards in a freezing winter in 1918. The short story "The Fate of a Man" was published in 1956, more than a decade after the end of the Great Patriotic War in the Soviet Union. However, this story was still conceived by Sholokhov after meeting such a war-torn soldier shortly after the war. The novel had a significant impact in the Soviet Union after its publication and was regarded as having epic value, marking a new era in war literature. The novel was later adapted into a film and achieved great success. P. Pavlenko's "Forest Partisans" vividly portrays the story of a partisan detachment in Irmen Lakes resisting fascist invaders with exquisite and lively writing, depicting characters such as the forest warden and military commanders, and expressing the Soviet people's desire for peace.
