Features: "The Collected Papers on the Modernization of Chinese Language" is the academic journal of the Society for the Modernization of Chinese Language. From an academic lineage perspective, it is a continuation and development of the "Collected Papers on the Modernization of Chinese Language" edited by Mr. Ni Haishu. Since the establishment of the society, the "Collected Papers on the Modernization of Chinese Language" has published four volumes, and this is the fifth issue. In October 2002, the society held its fifth academic conference in the ancient city of Kaifeng. The articles included in this issue are primarily those submitted to this conference, and we have also supplemented some articles that were not presented for discussion.
