Features: According to the work arrangements of the National Personnel Department Examination Center (No. 36 of [2005] of the Examination Center Letter), the designated textbooks and supplementary materials for the 2006 Economic Professional Qualification Examination have now been launched nationwide. The 2006 edition of the examination textbook is a reprinted version based on revisions and corrections to the 2004 edition, organized by experts from the Examination Center. Please note the following issues in the ordering process:
1. According to the new traffic regulations, "Transportation Economics (Highway) Professional Knowledge and Practice" has been completely rewritten, and the 2004 edition is now obsolete. Please remind candidates to pay attention to ordering.
2. The preliminary and intermediate levels of "Transportation Economics (Waterway) Professional Knowledge and Practice," "Transportation Economics (Railway) Professional Knowledge and Practice," preliminary and intermediate levels of "Transportation Economics (Civil Aviation) Professional Knowledge and Practice," preliminary and intermediate levels of "Tourism Economics Professional Knowledge and Practice," and the preliminary level of "Construction Economics Professional Knowledge and Practice" remain the 2004 edition (accompanied by an errata list).
3. The price of the 2006 edition of the examination textbook remains the same as last year: 42 yuan for the preliminary level and 45 yuan for the intermediate level.
4. According to the requirements of some provincial and municipal examination centers and the actual needs of candidates, several professional examination supplementary books, such as "Economic Basic Knowledge," will be ordered and distributed together with the examination textbooks this year. The main content of the supplementary books is as follows:
(a) Analysis and understanding of the professional examination syllabus; explanation of key points in each chapter of the examination textbook; supplementary exercises and reflection questions based on key chapters of the examination textbook; previous year's examination papers and analysis; notes on examination preparation and methods to improve examination-taking skills, etc.
(b) The examination supplementary books will closely align with the content of the examination textbook, with strong targetedness. They highlight professional characteristics and will greatly help candidates in understanding the examination textbook and improving their examination-taking skills. The price of this book is 25 yuan.
