Mouguo Miilu Pingzu: The original book is organized into chapters such as General Introduction, Questions and Answers, Treatment Records, Methods, and Dos and Don’ts. It is now annotated and commented on chapter by chapter for study.
Commentary on Chen Sicheng: This section provides a brief introduction to the historical records, academic contributions, and international influence of the original author, Chen Sicheng, to facilitate readers in learning and researching the original work. The book’s approach to diagnosing and treating mouguo (syphilis) was at the international forefront of its time and remains clinically practical to this day. Particularly in the use of toxic mineral drugs (arsenic-based compounds), it accumulated extensive experience, which can also serve as a reference for the development of new drugs to treat diseases such as leukemia and liver cancer.
