Features: "Principles of Management" is a course that combines theory and practice relatively closely, yet it is also somewhat abstract. This book breaks through the traditional writing order and chapter structure, following the work of managers from prediction, decision-making, planning to organization, and then to leadership, motivation, and control, in a simple and clear manner, making it easy to understand. This book has the following characteristics:
(1) Adapts to the requirements of quality-oriented education. Management quality is not only a requirement for social and economic professionals but also for non-economic professionals.
(2) Emphasizes case-based teaching to enhance students' ability to analyze and solve problems, as well as related management skills. To write this book, we referred to more than ten domestic "Principles of Management" textbooks, but none of them covered case-based teaching. Therefore, each chapter of this book includes two cases for the use of teachers in teaching and readers for self-study.
(3) A crystallization of collective wisdom. The teaching system and content of this book are the result of our many years of teaching experience, referencing other textbooks and management teaching practices from other institutions, and through repeated practice and summarization.
(4) Convenient for self-study and review. We have included review questions at the end of each chapter to help readers learn and master the main content, reducing the randomness of teachers assigning homework and readers reviewing.
(5) The book is highly adaptable. It can be used as a management textbook for universities and self-study exams, as well as a reference book for training for various management cadres.
