Features: Lu You was a great writer and renowned patriotic poet of the Southern Song Dynasty. His collected poems, Jian Nan Shi Gao, contain over 9,000 verses, making it exceptionally rich. The commonly used edition is the Ming Dynasty edition by Mao Jin of the Jiguang Pavilion, with 85 volumes, now annotated by Professor Qian Zhonglian of Jiangsu Normal University. The Jian Nan Shi Gao has never been fully annotated in history, and Professor Qian Zhonglian's work is indeed a pioneering effort. He corrected errors and variant texts in the manuscript based on multiple Song and Ming Dynasty editions, added annotations, and compiled and supplemented numerous lost poems beyond those included in the Jiguang Pavilion edition. Each poem is accompanied by an introduction explaining the time and place of its composition. Historical facts, allusions, names, and place names in the poems are annotated as much as possible. Appendices include Lu You's chronology, biographical materials, earlier records of editions and inscriptions related to Lu You's works, and postscripts. The content is substantial, providing a valuable edition for studying Lu You's poetry. For the convenience of readers, an index of titles is included at the end.
