"Ruiyu Six Records (4-6)"

Author: Huang Yongyu
Publisher:
Publish Date: 1997-05-02
Features: Before the Xingtai Earthquake, the author had been working in the production team there, engaging in the "Four Cleanups" campaign. Bored and restless, he wrote some "Animal Short Sentences" to pass the time, which gradually accumulated into over eighty entries. Some comrades found them amusing, even laughing uncontrollably. The author himself found them entertaining and planned to return to Beijing to find a publisher for a small booklet, complete with interesting illustrations.
Thus, this book came to be. If it had been delayed by thirty years, it would have been a century of wandering. The memories of his hometown were too vivid. Landscapes, life, witty remarks, characters, moods, and fragments of sorrow naturally arose from his daily experiences.
For his friends, he wondered if they would like these writings, understand them, or feel a connection to them? It was like brewing a cup of wild tea picked from behind his home mountain to offer to guests, hoping to catch a glimpse of their smiles.
Some notes on culture and art. He wondered if others shared his narrow-mindedness in emotions. His proudest works were only intended for close friends, estimating they would appreciate them.
