Features: This book is composed of three main parts—General Introduction, Specific Topics, and Appendices—totaling ten chapters. Part I first introduces the basic knowledge of seedling cultivation, including the establishment of seedbeds, seedbed preparation and fertilization, cultivation of seedlings, cultivation of vegetative propagation seedlings, cultivation of transplanted seedlings, pest and disease control of seedlings, seedling harvesting, and the establishment of technical archives. It aims to provide readers with a systematic and comprehensive understanding of the basic content, procedures, and standardized management of seedbeds and seedling cultivation work through the introduction of fundamental theoretical knowledge. Additionally, to improve seedling cultivation quality and the technical content of seedbed operations, as well as to disseminate and promote new seedling cultivation technologies, a special chapter (Chapter 6) is dedicated to introducing practical and widely applicable technologies currently in production, including the use of plant hormones, herbicides, and ground-warming agents, container and plastic film seedling cultivation, tissue culture, soilless cultivation, and full-spectrum misting cutting rapid seedling cultivation technology. In particular, the application of plant hormones, container seedling cultivation, plastic film seedling cultivation, and full-spectrum misting cutting rapid seedling cultivation technology are highly practical and have significant value. Part II (Specific Topics) covers the cultivation methods of 130 common landscape tree species, including 61 arboreal species (22 evergreen arboreal species and 29 deciduous arboreal species), 60 shrub species (22 evergreen shrub species and 38 deciduous shrub species), and 9 vine species.
