Features: The vocabulary requirements for the postgraduate entrance examination differ significantly from those in undergraduate studies. First, the vocabulary level has been elevated, as the postgraduate entrance examination syllabus requires mastery of approximately 8,000 words. Second, the difficulty of the vocabulary has increased. Third, the demands for understanding and applying vocabulary meanings are higher. Therefore, this book places greater emphasis on cultivating practical skills, not only aiming to help learners expand their vocabulary and conduct self-assessments but also more importantly, guiding them in scientific vocabulary learning methods and updating their language learning concepts. It should be noted that the postgraduate entrance examination syllabus explicitly states that there are vocabulary words exceeding 3% of the syllabus. To assist postgraduate entrance examination candidates in their review, we have appropriately included some vocabulary that goes beyond the "Postgraduate Entrance Examination Syllabus" based on an analysis of past examination questions. These words are marked with an asterisk (), indicating that they are required to be mastered at the postgraduate level. Words marked with a "triangle" are vocabulary that exceeds the "Doctoral Entrance Examination Syllabus" and are required to be mastered at the doctoral level. Candidates can freely choose based on their own circumstances.
