With the continuous development of various infrastructure projects in China, the national economy has been rapidly growing. However, the accompanying environmental pollution issues have become increasingly severe. They pose a serious threat to people's health and survival and have drawn widespread attention from all sectors of society. To meet the demand of environmental protection workers and related personnel for environmental protection standards, Standards Press of China published the series "Annual Compilation of China Environmental Protection Standards" around 2000. To meet the needs of readers and environmental protection work, as well as to ensure the continuity and completeness of the materials, we have collected environmental national standards and industry standards published between the end of 2000 and the end of July 2002 and compiled them into this book. This book includes 34 national standards and 36 industry standards. All the standards included in this book are current and effective.
