Li Ao's Quotations

Author: Li Ao

Features: Both Hu Shi and Li Ao can be said to have "a vast body of works," but it is generally impossible for ordinary people to find or read all of them. This "selected aphorisms" collection method categorizes and extracts the essence of the articles, leaving no stone unturned and publishing them comprehensively, which is extremely helpful for the selection and dissemination of the complete works. Readers, when reading, are like enjoying small snacks and side dishes, freely obtaining the true essence within self-contained units. Li Ao said, "I can no longer be humble. I deeply feel that I bear a significant portion of the burden of carrying forward and continuing the legacy. This responsibility is non-negotiable and falls upon me alone. I cannot relax myself because I cannot forget the duties I owe. I am fully aware that among these oblivious men, I am a rare gem, a lone and sharp bloom, unmatched by anyone. I stand on the side of the world!"
