The accompanying text in this book is in Chinese with Pinyin, and it is printed on full-color copperplate paper. It is truly an educational yet entertaining experience.
The main characters of Finding Nemo are a pair of adorable clownfish father and son. Marlin, the father, and Nemo, the son, have been living a peaceful and "happy" life in the Great Barrier Reef off the coast of Australia. Marlin is always cautious and timid, though he has become a father, which doesn’t stop him from being known far and wide as a scaredy-cat. Because of this, Nemo often argues with Marlin and even looks down on his father. Until one day, Nemo, who has always longed for adventure in the ocean, swims out of the coral reef where they live. Just as Nemo is about to stretch his little tail, a fishing boat ruthlessly captures the joyful Nemo and sells him to a dental clinic in Sydney Bay, Australia.
In the Great Barrier Reef, the sudden news that his beloved son is in mortal danger is like a bolt from the blue for Marlin. Despite his timid nature, Marlin decides to take the risk to save his son. He resolves to follow the Australian current and embark on a long journey to find his son. Although he has made up his mind, this doesn’t mean Marlin can suddenly abandon his fearful personality overnight. Several thrilling chases with the giant shark Bruce quickly make him want to give up, nearly turning the hope of reuniting with his son into a bubble. Fortunately, Marlin meets Dory, a Regal Blue Tang from Samaritan. Dory is a big, kind-hearted fish. Although her severe short-term memory often drives Marlin to tears, having Dory by his side gradually helps Marlin understand how to overcome his inner fear with courage and love, and realize that there are indeed things in life worth taking risks for.
Thus, the adventures of these two fish in the vast Pacific Ocean bring them into contact with all kinds of friends and face various crises. In the end, Marlin overcomes all difficulties and reunites with his son, safely returning to his home. The timid Marlin, who was once even looked down upon by his own son, becomes a true hero in his eyes after this trial! A heartwarming family reunion story comes to a close with tears in the eyes.
