Features: The leadership cost studied in this research is a high-level cost. The cost formula investigates the essential factors and the fundamental relationships between them, demonstrating the objectivity and scientific rigor of the study. The leadership cost discussed, as mentioned earlier, encompasses both tangible and intangible costs. Since leadership activities are highly complex, involving numerous intricate factors, some of which are fundamentally unquantifiable, it is not advisable to blindly apply economic cost accounting methods. Otherwise, it would lead to metaphysicalism and render the research meaningless. The cost issue studied in this research fundamentally reveals certain patterns of leadership activities, making it highly applicable in practice. Although the cost issue studied in this research cannot be quantified precisely, a fuzzy cost measure can still be grasped by people. In practice, people generally evaluate a leadership activity as yielding more benefits than costs, or as being equally beneficial or detrimental. This research positions such evaluations on the essential factors. Therefore, the cost formula proposed in this research enables leaders to more consciously grasp the ( and performance) in leadership activities, thereby improving their leadership effectiveness. It can also serve as a reference for organizational and personnel departments in assessing leaders at various levels.
