What methods treat varicocele

Patient's question:

Varicocele. Varicocele Varicocele

Doctor's answer:

Varicocele, due to blood stasis in the spermatic veins, can lead to an increase in scrotal temperature, causing the testicular temperature to drop by 1℃ to 2℃. Prolonged high temperatures can affect sperm production in the testes, resulting in azoospermia and oligozoospermia. The epididymis also contributes to the maturation of sperm. It is more common in young and middle-aged adults. The incidence of left varicocele is higher. Those with asymptomatic or mild symptoms can wear elastic pants or use a scrotal support band. Men with severe symptoms and infertility due to varicocele accompanied by abnormal sperm should undergo surgical treatment. The surgical procedure involves high ligation of the spermatic veins.
