Features: Art can manifest culture. Whenever art exists, it is sufficient to represent the thoughts of a time and a people, and thus it is also a phenomenon of the national spirit. If the spirit changes, art follows it in transformation. These objects remain in the world for a long time, so even though martial power and cultural education may turn to dust with time, they are preserved by art, allowing future generations to examine them. Other events such as grand ceremonies, scenic spots, and famous figures are often made eternal through the power of art.
Art can support morality. The purpose of art is to assist in morality for governance. As material civilization spreads increasingly, human emotions also tend to become superficial. If we promote this beautiful and noble art, then only the noble sentiments remain, and evil thoughts do not arise. Without punishment or persuasion, the nation will be at peace.
Art can rescue the economy. Local products are neglected, while foreign goods are popular, leading to economic hardship in China. However, the materials of these products are the same across countries, with the only difference being craftsmanship. If art is widely promoted, the works will naturally excel, and when displayed in markets, they can surpass foreign goods. In the future, capital will not flow out. Therefore, merely advocating for domestic products is secondary, while developing art is the fundamental solution.
