Features: The common characteristics of the five chapters in this book are: (1) Through the author's specialized research, it reflects to some extent the pulse and general outline of the update and development of civil law in China since the reform and opening-up; (2) The papers in this book were basically drafted successively since the 1980s and have been revised many times over the years. Before this publication, adjustments and modifications were made to some content and wording in the chapters, and repetitive content was removed from different chapters; (3) The order of sections in each chapter is basically arranged in chronological order to allow readers to understand how Chinese civil law (including judicial interpretations) has developed and changed, as well as the pace of the author's subsequent research, which has led to differences in views and developments over time. These features alone do not reflect how much "genuine insight" or "innovative breakthroughs" the author has in civil law theory. It may just be a drop in the vast ocean of profound civil law theory. A drop of water can also reflect the light of the sun, and the light reflected is the arduous journey of the update and development of Chinese civil law and civil law theory, as well as the painstaking efforts of countless students in their hard exploration: hoping to promote the early arrival of the spring of Chinese rule of law.
