Features: "Economic Mathematics" is a compulsory basic course for economic majors such as accounting and business management in vocational and technical colleges. It not only helps students develop their thinking skills and understand the methods of recognizing the world but also holds significant importance for their future studies in specialized courses. In terms of content selection, this book covers three areas: calculus and applications, linear algebra, and probability theory, meeting the mathematical knowledge requirements of various disciplines such as finance, economics, and business management. Different majors can choose the content that suits their needs. Written with the characteristics of vocational and technical college students in mind and adhering to the principle of "student-centered and humanized education," this book aims to facilitate reading and represents a new attempt to use the textbook as a self-study guide for students. During the compilation process, the following explorations were made: (1) Each chapter begins with practical economic problems, and each section is as closely linked to real-world economic issues as possible, fully reflecting the characteristic of economic mathematics—mathematics serving the economy. (2) Additional "Preliminary Knowledge" is included: for knowledge that students may need or have forgotten to learn each section, we provide it in the form of "Preliminary Knowledge" to assist their reading. (3) Superfluous reasoning and proofs have been omitted in the content. The explanations are designed to be easily understood by students, with consideration for their needs at every step. (4) Intermediate steps in example solutions are not omitted, allowing students to read smoothly and encounter fewer obstacles. "Analysis" is added before the solutions to examples to help students organize their thoughts and clarify the direction of problem-solving. (5) Each section concludes with a question that introduces the next section, not only making the overall structure more cohesive but also guiding students in their reading. Chapter summaries are clear and concise.
