Features: The author wrote this book with the aim of following the historical trend, taking the promotion of traditional culture and the dissemination of moral spirit as their mission, allowing children to start savoring traditional culture during their peak memory period. As time passes, they gradually digest it, turning it into their own thoughts and spiritual essence. In this series, "Introduction to Children's National Culture and Classics," we have selected 20 ancient classics from China, making them simple and easy to understand. We have provided annotations and translations of the original texts and accompanied them with vivid cartoon illustrations to help children grasp the meaning and spirit within. During the writing process, we have paid attention to viewing Guo Xue (Chinese traditional culture) as the source of national spirit while being fully aware of its deep historical imprints from the feudal society in which it originated, developed, and spread. We have adopted a very cautious attitude, emphasizing the rigor of material selection, the precision of annotations, and the accuracy of comments. The learning potential and absorption capacity of children are beyond imagination for adults. We advocate parents and teachers to strengthen guidance and focus on cultivating children's self-learning abilities. Learning methods should be simple and practical—ideally starting with recitation, followed by familiarization, then memorization, and finally reflection. We encourage parents and teachers to recite with children, leading them while also further enriching themselves with moral and cultural.
