When you are furious, try the following tips to "control your anger."
1. Sit down and lean back. If you argue while standing, it will make the other person more tense;
2. Splash cold water on your face. It can help you calm down, lower your skin temperature, reduce some anger, and facilitate tranquility;
3. Don't get stuck in a corner, always thinking negatively: "This person is so annoying" or "I must teach them a lesson." This will only make you angrier and more frustrated;
4. When extremely angry, tell yourself, "I don't believe there's no way to handle this." This can transform anger into strength and help you find a solution;
5. Speak as calmly as possible, and you will feel more relaxed, reducing your anger in the process;
6. Massage your shoulders or temples for about 10 seconds. This can help alleviate anger and muscle tension;
7. Quickly shift your mindset and imagine some relaxed and pleasant scenes, such as sunny weather, beautiful mountains and waters, the sounds of birds and flowers, or close your eyes for a few seconds. This will gradually help you detach from the conflict and calm your excited emotions.
