Features: The collection of research papers presented to you is an important achievement of the teachers at the Institute of Ancient Chinese Literature, School of Literature and Journalism, Shandong University, resulting from their long-term dedication. Shandong University is renowned for its strengths in humanities and social sciences research, and the School of Literature and Journalism was one of the first national bases for talent cultivation and scientific research in liberal arts. As a key component of this base, the study of Ancient Chinese Literature has produced a large number of influential high-level research outcomes under the diligent efforts of its faculty. It has established two distinctive areas of focus: the study of Ancient Chinese Fiction and Ancient Chinese Poetry, gaining high recognition both domestically and internationally. This collection includes individual papers published by the faculty of the Institute of Ancient Chinese Literature in major domestic journals over the years. Although it does not encompass the entirety of their research, the selected papers provide a glimpse into their significant achievements and rigorous academic approach in their dedicated fields.
