The main points of modification include: analyzing the types and structures of reference books, summarizing the approaches and methods for using reference books to solve problems, and introducing content related to computerized reference books. From a practical perspective, some reference books have been removed, while more recently published reference books have been added, aiming to reflect the overall picture of domestic Chinese reference books up to the late 1980s. There are many reference books both in China and abroad, but this book only introduces Chinese reference books, specifically the common and important ones, and strives for systematic organization. Reference books can address various problems, but this book only covers the basic and main issues.
