The theory and practice of securities investment have made remarkable progress in recent years. This textbook elaborates on the principles, methods, and practice of securities investment from six aspects. The first part is an introduction, describing the discipline of securities investment. The second part discusses specific investment tools, in addition to stocks, bonds, and securities investment funds that have flourished in China's securities market in recent years, as well as financial derivatives being developed, such as warrants. It also introduces financial futures, options, and index futures that the Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges are preparing to launch. The third part covers securities valuation, introducing several popular valuation methods and models to help investors establish the concepts of dynamic valuation and rational investment. This content is also a part of the innovative structure of the book. The fourth part discusses modern investment theory, mainly including securities investment portfolio theory and the capital asset pricing model, thereby establishing a method to effectively apply modern investment theory to guide practice based on the evaluation of returns and risks. The fifth part is securities investment analysis, involving fundamental and technical analysis. Although these analytical methods belong to traditional securities investment analysis techniques, they still hold positive significance for investors to grasp investment opportunities from a macro perspective, industry-specific aspects, or even individual investment products. The sixth part covers securities portfolio management and the performance evaluation of securities investment funds.
