Features: Integrated land and resource management is an emerging trend. With the development of the market economy system, the functions of land and resource management departments have undergone fundamental changes, shifting from "highly centralized administrative management" to "management with service as its primary function." Fragmented multi-departmental management struggles to adapt to this change, making the consolidation of multiple land and resource administrative departments inevitable. This requires employees of land and resource management departments to master the basic knowledge of comprehensive land management and adhere to the principles of comprehensive land management in their work. Integrated land and resource management is also determined by the inherent characteristics of land and resources. Land and resources possess the attributes of public goods or quasi-public goods, necessitating a systematic approach to their development, utilization, and protection. This requires theoretical researchers and practitioners to adopt a comprehensive land perspective. Integrated land and resource management demands the cultivation of professionals with expertise in comprehensive land management. Regrettably, due to the fragmented management of land and resources in China, the content of land and resource management textbooks also exhibits a "fragmented" characteristic, such as separate introductions to land resource management, mineral resource management, marine resource management, etc., with no textbooks yet available that cater to integrated land and resource management. This is detrimental to the training of college and university students or vocational training. We have organized experts in relevant fields to attempt innovation in this area. Additionally, land and resource management is multidimensional, with administrative management being just one dimension. Textbooks on land and resource administrative management are scarce, and we have also sought to explore this aspect.
