Features: The economic development mechanism in ethnic minority inhabited areas is formed under the joint influence of natural geographical environment, natural resource base, social and cultural environment, and other conditions. The main analysis focuses on the formation mechanism of the economic development mechanism in the Sichuan-Yunnan-Tibetan ethnic, reveals the specific interactive relationships between various driving factors and the economic development mechanism, and explores the economic development characteristics of ethnic regions caused by ethnic characteristics and their special relationship with the economic development mechanism. The systematic and comprehensive research results indicate that in the complex operational elements system of the economic development mechanism in the Sichuan-Yunnan-Tibetan ethnic, the natural geographical environment composed of high-altitude terrain; the natural resource environment consisting of unique tourism resources, scarce arable land resources, and abundant grassland resources; and the social and cultural environment formed by remote economic location, low industrial structure diversification level, and strong national support are internalized as characteristics of ethnic regions, becoming the main operational elements of the economic development mechanism in the Sichuan-Yunnan-Tibetan ethnic, profoundly influencing the economic development process of the Sichuan-Yunnan-Tibetan ethnic. This book selects the Sichuan-Yunnan-Tibetan ethnic as a typical area of ethnic minority inhabited regions in the western part of China for an in-depth and systematic study.
