Features: To further improve teaching and strengthen the construction of the ethnic and religious studies discipline, the Central Institute of Socialism established the Ethnic and Religious Teaching and Research Office within the Department of Chinese Culture and Education in 2003. The direction of the ethnic and religious studies discipline is to closely integrate with the practicalities of religious work and gradually form a discipline with united front characteristics. Compared to Party school, universities, social science research institutions, and government agencies, the Central Institute of Socialism's distinctive feature in the construction of the ethnic and religious studies discipline primarily lies in our focus on the study of ethnic and religious issues from the perspective of political science. "Problems lead students, and students lead teachers." Based on the needs and characteristics of our teaching subjects and the urgent demand for actively guiding religious activities to adapt to socialist society, we have determined that research should be conducted with the problems raised by students as topics, with the construction of patriotic religious forces as a key focus. Given that this research group is multidisciplinary, due to differences in academic backgrounds, perspectives on problems, and life and work experiences, the phrasing of the issues discussed may vary.
