Features: A blend of ingenuity and simplicity, combining both softness and strength. Xu Hua (renowned Taiwanese film director): I really love how "Jade Beauty" portrays life in Yunnan and the details of daily life. I thought it would be great to film it at the time, and later learned that Haiyan's works are very popular in mainland China. This is a lyrical work that showcases the kindness and tolerance of Chinese women, blending ingenuity and simplicity, softness and strength, with meticulous quality yet not compromising on grandeur. It combines the police-criminal genre with a love story, featuring vivid characters and a gripping plot. With its youthful passion and the intensity of human nature, the compelling story and diverse characters tell a rollercoaster of a love story. Female police officer Anxin's life takes a dramatic turn due to an accidental "affair." Torn between family and enemies, and between emotion and law, she endures the cruelty of death and rediscovers the sweetness of love, ultimately growing into a strong and complete woman, dedicating herself to the extremely tough and dangerous work of anti-drug enforcement.
