Features: This is a completely worth-collecting audiobook. I believe that in some deep night years later, when you hear these words again, your eyes will still be moist, because the desire for purity and beautiful emotions is forever humanity's most precious instinct—even when this instinct is sometimes fervent, sometimes tragic. It is a simple yet trembling emotional legend, beginning with an oath and a promise born from life and death. A city recluse who suddenly contracts leukemia and awaits death meets Nannan, a radiant girl like dawn. To pay for her lover's expensive medical expenses, Nannan works at four or five jobs and independently supports herself in a foreign metropolis. With no money to treat her lover, Nannan is forced to become a thief. While stealing, she unintentionally causes someone's death, and the two are thus drawn down an irreversible path tightly bound by love and death. Tied to Heaven is the second full-length novel by the popular author Li Xiwen, following Tears on the Beauty Spot. With its lingering and passionate brushwork, it is both tragic and gorgeous. The original was launched by Renwen Press in 2003 with a first print run of 100,000 copies and was simultaneously released in Taiwan. The novel became a sensation before it was even published, with the film and television adaptation rights sold before printing. The same-titled television series features the handsome actor Chen Kun as the male lead, with auditions held nationwide for the female protagonist. The audiobook Tied to Heaven by Jiajia Listening Library is selected from Beijing Literature and Art Station's Novel Broadcast program, performed by two of China's top ten performing artists—Mou Yun and Zhai Wanchen, both first-class actors from the General Political Department's Drama Troupe. The performances of these two language artists are gentle and winding, clear and fluent, focusing on the portrayal of characters' personalities and inner depths. Their effortless and flowing performance style creates an artistic charm of "unique emotional beauty," generating a heart-stirring and moving power in the purity and tranquility. I believe everyone who listens to this novel will be deeply moved!
