Features: Lecter, who had fled for 7 years, suddenly wrote a letter to Starling to comfort her, while Starling was deeply frustrated due to setbacks and exclusion at work. Meanwhile, Berson, an early victim of Lecter, was offering a hefty reward to hunt down this cannibal, and planned to retaliate with even more cruel means. Although his pursuit in Italy failed, he allied with Krendler, who was persecuting Starling, using Starling as bait to successfully capture Dr. Lecter. Just as the horrifying private punishment was about to begin, Starling appeared at Berson's farm.
