Features: This series of publications is an irregular collection that emphasizes the thematic nature of humanities and academia. Each issue focuses on a specific theme, inviting experts to select representative works (or compile key academic viewpoints) of scholars from the country and provide comprehensive reviews, aiming to offer readers a relatively complete introduction to a particular academic topic. In addition to introducing new academic concepts and information, it will also make rational choices regarding academic considerations of different cultural value judgments. To meet the needs of young scholars for understanding foreign academic culture, it will provide accessible interpretations of new academic terms (including interlingual definitions). All of these will serve the multi-level and diversified demands of modernizing Chinese academic culture and broaden the intellectual space for humanities research in the domestic academic community. This series will also pay attention to the potential negative impacts it may have on the inheritance of national culture. Cultural exchange and dialogue should also objectively and rationally evaluate and select foreign cultural resources. The scientificity and rigor of academic research must be maintained. This issue also covers recent achievements in the study of social capital from other countries. Except for some basic concepts and related debates in social capital theory, the other sections are generally arranged in the order of sociology, political science, and economics.
