Features: The implementation of nine-year compulsory education and the weekend system in our country has provided children with time and space to develop actively. How can we offer better mathematics learning and development for children who excel in studies? This is a hot topic of concern for parents, teachers, and society. In 1994, when I met with Professor Oharen, the president of the World Association of National Mathematical Competitions in Bulgaria, we shared a common view: stimulating interest in mathematics learning, guiding learning methods, and cultivating thinking skills are key aspects of mathematics education. Based on this, the primary school mathematics supplementary reading materials I edited have consistently reflected the views that "interest is the source of motivation for good learning" and "thinking is the core of intelligence and ability."
