Ghost

Author: (French) Marie Darrieussecq, translated by Xu Zuoquan
Publisher:
Publishing Date: 2001-10-01
Features: The Ghost will not disappoint the defenders of The Pig Woman. Although this novel seems a bit traditional on the surface, its originality and restlessness still surprise. The Ghost is a true work that lays the second brick for Darrieussecq. This work proves that she is not a flash in the pan writer and has not become complacent due to success. Darrieussecq, who was instantly famous after the success of The Pig Woman, became the leader of a team overnight. However, she is not of the same ilk as those trendy followers. The Pig Woman made Darrieussecq famous, and The Ghost made her even more famous.
