Features: Starting from 1941, Japanese imperialism, in its desperate attempt to quickly resolve the "China Incident" and turn China into a supply base for its "Greater East Asia War," exhausted all means and adopted various cruel tactics. It launched a "Total War" against the enemy-controlled bases led by the Communist Party of China, primarily through the "Security Enhancement Movement," with "raids," "purges," and "encroachment" as main methods, complemented by comprehensive political, economic, cultural, and ideological aggression. This pushed the Chinese resistance, especially the anti-Japanese struggle in the enemy-controlled areas, into a phase of extreme hardship. In response to the severe situation, the Communist Party of China proposed the "Ten Policies of Anti-Japanese Resistance." Under its leadership, the people in the enemy-controlled areas fought a desperate battle against the Japanese invaders. By the first half of 1943, they finally defeated the enemy's "Total War," broke through the darkness, and welcomed the dawn of victory. On the main front, they also achieved partial victories in battles such as the Shanggao Campaign, the Third Changsha Campaign, and the Exi Campaign. The Chinese Air Force grew stronger, and the Chinese Expeditionary Force entered Burma to aid the British, directly cooperating with the Allied forces and gaining prestige abroad.
On September 18, 1931, with the thunderous artillery fire of the Japanese Kwantung Army's attack on the Beibai Camp in Shenyang, Japanese imperialism launched its long-planned war of aggression to dominate China. Thereafter, it gradually encroached and advanced. Wherever the invaders' iron hooves trod, rivers and mountains bled, fields were destroyed, lives were devastated, and civilization was ruined. The Chinese nation faced the brink of extinction! Saving the nation and preserving survival became the inescapable responsibility of every Chinese person! The Chinese people of all classes, parties, groups, and overseas Chinese, prioritizing the greater national interest, united, stood shoulder to shoulder in hatred of the enemy, and faced the crisis together. They built a new Great Wall with flesh and blood and engaged in a heroic struggle against the Japanese invaders that lasted for 14 years.
China's War of Resistance against Japan followed a difficult and winding path, experiencing a historical process from localized resistance to nationwide resistance, from strategic defense to strategic stalemate, and finally to strategic counteroffense. Through immense national sacrifices and heroic resistance, the Chinese people ultimately achieved a great victory in defeating Japanese imperialism, composing a moving and majestic anthem of the entire nation's anti-invasion war.
