Is pediatric cerebral palsy massage effective?

Patient's question:

My son is one year old and is very troublesome. He cries every day. My wife and I are worried and take him to the hospital for a check-up. The doctor says he has cerebral palsy, which scared both of us. We are very concerned about the child. We have given him a lot of medicine, but it hasn't helped. Are there any massage techniques for children with cerebral palsy? Do they work?

Doctor's answer:

Glute Separation Method: Place the child in a supine position with bent hips and knees. The surgeon uses both hands to support the child on both sides of the knees, applying double needle pressure and double incision points, while massaging the adductor muscles of the femur. Release the adductor tendon. Press both hands on both sides of the thighs, then slowly separate the knees to widen the hips. Repeat 40-60 times. This method is suitable for hip joint contracture.
Hip Internal and External Rotation Method: The child lies in a supine position with bent knees. The right leg of the child is bent inward, with the ankle joint placed on the knee of the left leg. The left hand is pressed down, and this is repeated 40 times. The left leg is completed in the same way 40 times.
