Features: This series of books systematically introduces scientific knowledge in various fields of the ecological environment through many vivid and interesting examples and stories, providing readers with a wealth of new information and elaborating on the responsibility and obligation of protecting the environment from the perspective of ecological ethics. Previous environmental books for teenagers often focused more on knowledge and technology, while this series takes environmental ethics as its foundation. On one hand, it explores serious topics ands, on the other hand, it appropriately portrays a positive attitude and efforts to address such crises, as well as the outcomes of these efforts, offering readers hope and inspiration. The greatest feature of this series is its foundation in ecological ethics, with specific discussions organically integrated into this ethical framework. Taking Birds and Animals' Farewell as an example, the book not only clarifies the current situation of many wild animals being on the brink of extinction (with a wealth of specific data provided) and related scientific knowledge, as well as the importance of protecting wildlife for humanity, but also emphasizes cultivating young readers' understanding of the essence of life and their appreciation and respect for its value. Only by establishing such ethical concepts can the reasons for protecting wildlife be thoroughly explained. Moreover, promoting this ecological ethical perspective helps cultivate a correct view of nature and the world among young people.
