Features: So, how can we actively create the future? Without further ado, the clever reader must have already realized: while taking pride in reminiscing about the past and freely seizing the present, you are already beginning to create a bright future! The future always belongs to those who are confident and optimistic! The great Western philosopher Plato once said this highly philosophical remark: "Old people cherish the past, middle-aged people seize the present, and young people look forward to the future." This is indeed true, because it aligns with the mentality of people of all age groups and the roles they play in society. However, in my opinion, it's not entirely accurate. Let alone middle-aged people's love for nostalgia and young people's greater focus on the present due to their practicality, I would like to explain my perspective from the perspective of retirees: When retirees first step down from their jobs, they are bound to feel a sense of loss. This sense of loss is manifested in two ways: first, in their thoughts, they love to reminisce about the past, and even trivial matters bring them endless joy and satisfaction; second, their once-healthy bodies suddenly deteriorate, with pain here and pain there. In fact, the best cure for this sense of loss and those inexplicable ailments is to adopt a positive attitude toward the present.
