Features: To reflect the general picture of China's judicial work, guide judicial practice, promote legal research, introduce the achievements of China's legal system construction and law enforcement standards to domestic and foreign audiences; at the same time, to provide valuable reference materials for Chinese judicial workers, legislative workers, and teaching and research personnel. In 1991, the Supreme People's Court of China and the China Advanced Judges Training Center decided to jointly compile the China Judicial Case Selection. Cases are selected annually from various types of cases adjudicated by courts at all levels across the country and published in four volumes: Criminal Trial Case Selection, Civil Trial Case Selection, Commercial Trial Case Selection, and Administrative Trial Case Selection. Due to the limited number of intellectual property trial cases and transportation trial cases, they are insufficient to form independent volumes and are therefore categorized and included in the Commercial or Criminal volumes, depending on the nature of the cases. During the compilation of this book, the facts of the cases, the trial process, the grounds for judgment, and the outcomes are fully respected in accordance with the actual handling of the cases, ensuring objectivity and authenticity. To facilitate readers in understanding the specific trial process, information on the trial bodies at each level, parties involved in the lawsuit, trial completion time, claims of both the prosecution and defense, identified case facts, evidence accepted, and applicable legal provisions are included.
