The first author, Sun Yanguang, is a senior engineer with the Metallurgical Automation Research and Design Institute, with many years of experience in automation and informatization for process industries. He organized the development of the Manufacturing Execution System (MriMES) for steel plants and applied it in multiple steel companies. The second author, Chen Jingping, is an engineer at the Institute of Remote Sensing, Chinese Academy of Sciences, who has worked on many national and corporate informatization projects and has deep expertise in software system analysis and development.
