Features: One prominent feature of this textbook is its integration of both practice and learning. In teaching, it allows students to practice calligraphy, learn calligraphy techniques, study calligraphy culture, understand the splendid history of their homeland, and appreciate outstanding calligraphy works. The second feature is its alignment with school teaching activities. Currently, many secondary vocational and technical schools use various types of calligraphy practice books, making it difficult to manage teaching progress. This textbook is divided into eighteen lessons, while most schools have ten to twelve weeks per semester, making it convenient for arranging teaching activities. Each week includes key points for instruction and practice, progressing from strokes to structure, from single characters to entire passages, in a step-by-step and gradual manner, providing a clear basis for teaching and learning. The third feature is the inclusion of exercises after each lesson, combining instruction with practice. The primary way to improve calligraphy skills is through practice. For this reason, some calligraphy textbooks are specifically paired with exercise books, which adds to students' workload. This textbook combines both in-class and after-class exercises, allowing teachers to review homework while understanding students' post-class work and in-class learning, reducing students' burden, and achieving three benefits in one. Additionally, the exercises cover both character practice and calligraphy-related historical and cultural knowledge, comprehensively consolidating and assessing teaching effectiveness.
