Early insects are eaten by birds.
Early birds get insects to eat. This is a saying often taught to children by elders. It seems that as long as one is diligent, no matter which direction they pursue, they will "get insects to eat." In fact, the first thing to clarify is whether one is a bird or an insect. If you are a bird, because you wake up early, you may have plenty to eat. But if you are an insect, if you wake up early, you will surely bring upon yourself disaster. As an insect, it is safer to sleep in. Why is there a saying about "lazy insects"?
