How should ADHD be treated after it appears?

Patient's question:

Is ADHD the reason for late speech development? A four-year-old child still speaks very little, occasionally saying "father." Even when taught, they don't speak. I don't know what the factors are. They are restless as soon as they wake up in the morning, which is a great concern—could it be ADHD? They sleep on their stomach at night. What's the difference between ADHD and hyperactivity?

Doctor's answer:

ADHD is one of the most common diseases in childhood. Approximately 4% of children are affected. Before entering school, boys often start showing symptoms more frequently than girls. They cannot concentrate on thinking or stay silent with parents or others for a long time. Children are highly argumentative and have difficulty getting along with others, and this does not improve after starting school. Approximately 25% of children with ADHD also have learning difficulties, while 40% of children may engage in theft or illegal behavior.
