Features: The characteristics of the Chinese people in terms of physical appearance, strictly speaking, should be classified as the "Mongoloid" race. It is one of the three major races in the world, with the other two being the "Negroid" race (commonly known as Black people) and the "Caucasoid" race (commonly known as White people). The most important physical features of the Mongoloid race, including the Chinese, are: a flat nose, forward-projecting cheekbones, relatively prominent eye sockets, straight and relatively coarse black hair, yellow skin, and almond-shaped eyes (commonly known as phoenix eyes).
